Haryanvi singer Raju Punjabi has passed away at a hospital in Haryana at the age of 40.
Just a few days ago, Raju had released his final song ‘Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Achha Laga Tha’. According to India TV News, the singer had been admitted to a hospital in Hisar, Haryana, for some time and was undergoing treatment for jaundice.
As per the reports, after showing signs of improvement in his health, he was discharged from the hospital. However, his condition deteriorated, and he was readmitted. Fellow singer KD Desi Rock shared a picture of Raju from his hospital bed and wrote, “Raju, come back today.”
This news has left the fans of the departed singer in shock. One fan wrote, “A great loss in the world of music, the king of melodies after Sur, dear brother Raju Punjabi has bid farewell to the world.” Another comment read, “A very sad news, the renowned Haryanvi singer #RajuPunjabi is no longer among us. Raju Punjabi, father of three young children, was special in the entire Haryanvi industry.”
An Instagram user said, “Today, our beloved brother Raju Punjabi is no longer with us. May our brother find peace. Om Shanti.” Another person stated, “We will remember you, legend.” Someone else wrote, “We pray to God to grant the departed soul a place at His feet. Om Shanti.”
Just a few days ago, Raju had released his final song ‘Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Achha Laga Tha’. His last Instagram post is also related to this song. On August 20, Raju had shared a video collage and wrote, “Aapse Milke Yaara Humko Achha Laga.”
Raju Punjabi is known for hits like “Achha Lage Se,” “Desi Desi,” “Tu Cheez Lajawab,” “Last Peg,” and “Bhaang Mere Yaar.” He had collaborated with Sapna Choudhary on a project.
