Tech giant Apple is set to host its annual event titled ‘Wonderlast’ on Tuesday (September 12th). The annual event is generating buzz as the company is expected to unveil not only the new generation of iPhones but also other products. The event is scheduled to kick off at 10:30 PM (IST) and will be live-streamed on the company’s YouTube channel. Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, will discuss what the company has achieved in the past year and what Apple fans can look forward to in the future.
The most talked-about gadget is the iPhone 15, which is expected to feature updated hardware and displays for Apple enthusiasts. Here’s a list of expected launches at today’s Apple event:
Users can expect a new lineup of Apple’s phones, possibly including the iPhone 15. This lineup may comprise the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It’s anticipated that, like every year, the iPhone 14 trend will continue this year as well. This suggests that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro may have a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max may come with a 6.7-inch display. Other design changes may include thinner bezels.
Due to European Union regulations, Apple may remove the Lightning port and potentially transition to USB-C charging with the alleged iPhone 15 series. There’s also discussion that the standard iPhone 15 model may come with Apple-certified cables for limited charging speeds. The top two models, iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max, could come with faster data transfer speeds.
Apple is expected to introduce wearable devices as well, with updates in store for the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch Series 9 and the All-New Ultra are expected to feature new hardware and screen refresh rates. The Watch Series 9 is expected to be available in 41-millimeter and 45-millimeter sizes, while the Watch Ultra 2 is anticipated to come in a 49-millimeter size.
Reportedly, AirPods will also see new features, such as the ability to mute and unmute (a new feature referred to as “Conversation Awareness”). Additionally, these new gadgets may switch from the current Lightning port to USB-C charging.
The company will announce significant hardware changes and unveil the latest version of its operating system, iOS 17, along with official release dates for iPhones, iPads, Watches, and TVs.
