Shubh addressed the hoodie controversy
Taking to Instagram stories on Tuesday, Shubh used his platform to break his silence on the issue. He wrote, “No matter what I do, some people will find something against me. During my first show in London, the audience threw a lot of clothes, jewelry, and phones at me.”
He further added, “I came there to perform, not to see what was thrown at me and what it was. The team has worked hard over the past few months to perform for all of you. Let’s stop spreading hate and negativity.”
Kangana Ranaut criticizes Shubh
A video of Shubh’s musical performance surfaced on the internet, showing the singer being targeted by a fan who threw a hoodie at him. Reacting to the clip, Kangana shared a post on her social media platform and criticized the artist.
She wrote, “I am celebrating the cowardly assassination by those who he appointed as his protectors. When trust is placed in you for protection, but instead you misuse that trust and use weapons against those you were expected to protect, it’s not bravery but cowardice. Shame on you for such cowardly attacks on an elderly and unknown woman, a woman who was a chosen leader of democracy, there is nothing here to celebrate, Mr. Shubh. Shame on you.”
This is not the first time Shubh has found himself at the centre of controversy. Last month, Shubh faced a strong reaction when he was accused of supporting Khalistani elements in his previous social media posts. As a result, his Mumbai concert was immediately cancelled.
