Two decades later, a video from the movie has gone viral on social media, revealing a small goof-up made by the makers. The clip features the character ‘Anand Babu,’ portrayed by Mahesh Thakur, attempting to pick a laddoo from a sweet box but encountering a mishap. Despite the error, he skillfully covers it up with a smile. The video has caught the attention of netizens, sparking hilarious responses from fans as it circulates across various social media platforms.

In a recent interview with Brut India, Mahesh Thakur discussed the laddoo scene goof-up and revealed that it was not planned. Providing further details, he explained that director Sooraj Barjatya had instructed an actor to offer sweets, and everyone was supposed to pick a laddoo from the box. However, Mahesh found himself in a position where the box was out of his reach, resulting in the inadvertent miss.

In a similar vein, Mahesh shared that when he attempted to grab a laddoo for the second time, he missed once again. Adapting on the spot as an actor, he improvised the scene and played along. Reflecting on the enduring love the scene receives from the audience even years after its release, he expressed finding it genuinely cute.

On a personal note, Mahesh Thakur, who grew up in Panama and initially worked in his family business, had no intentions of entering acting. His journey into the world of modeling began unexpectedly during a visit to Mumbai to see his grandmother. He recounted how a friend facilitated his first modeling project, even compensating him for the opportunity.
