Through this brand deal, MS Dhoni is earning a hefty sum, and he has entered into a multi-crore deal with the online gaming company Garena to support his mobile game, Free Fire, which is one of the most popular online games in the world.
Free Fire is making a comeback in India on September 5th, and Garena has decided to partner with some of the most famous personalities like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Saina Nehwal, Sunil Chhetri, and Leander Paes to expand its popularity.
Garena revealed that MS Dhoni will be the new brand ambassador for Free Fire India and will be featured in the game as a playable character – ‘Thala.’ This character will also be showcased in the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC).
It should be noted that BGMI, previously known as PUBG, was also banned in India along with Garena Free Fire by the Indian government. Now, this game is fully prepared to return to India under the new name Free Fire India on September 5th.
