OMG 2, which debuted today, stars Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Akshay Kumar. Following the screening, viewers posted reviews of the new movie on social media. Several fans commended Akshay Kumar for making “daring” film choices, while others appreciated the movie for emphasizing everyday topics like sexual health.
OMG 2 is a sequel to the original film “OMG: Oh My God!” starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. In the original, Akshay portrayed the character of Krishna, but in the sequel, he was initially supposed to play the role of Shiva, which was later changed to an envoy of God.
Notably, the censor board has given the film an ‘A’ (Adult) certification and approximately 13 minutes of the film have been cut. However, OMG 2 has been given a 12A certification in the United Arab Emirates, allowing children above 12 years to watch the film, as reported by E-Times.
Certain dialogues and references to revered religious elements like the Shiva Linga, Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Atharva Veda, Draupadi, Pandavas, Krishna, Gopis, and Ras Leela have been removed.
