Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire does not seem to be slowing down at the box office, minting double digit collections on an everyday basis. And now, the film has managed to beat one of Prabhas’ biggest hits; Baahubali: The Beginning in the Hindi circuit.

S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning released in 2015 and was able to blur the lines between regional and Hindi cinema. It was the first Telugu film that made more than Rs 100 crore at the Hindi box office. By the end of its box office run, which was 6 weeks long, the film had minted about Rs 118.5 crore and now Prabhas’s latest release Salaar has managed to beat that number in just 12 days.

Prashanth Neel’s Salaar has already made about Rs 361 crore at the Indian box office, of which Rs 123.5 crore have come just from Hindi, Rs 204.75 crore have from Telugu and the remaining from Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. And the journey for Salaar is far from complete. With no big release for the next 10 days ( Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas releases on 12th Jan) the film has a big chance to add to its collection.
Besides Prabhas, Salaar also stars Prithviraj, Sriya Reddy, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu.
