Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met with porters at the Delhi Railway Station on Thursday as part of his various grassroots-level journeys under the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ (Connect India Journey).
On Thursday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi engaged in a conversation with porters at the Anand Vihar Railway Station in Delhi. He discussed their issues and later donned the trade mark red shirt of the porters as he continued to carry forward his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ message.
Despite carrying a load on his head, Rahul Gandhi was seen interacting with enthusiasm, and the crowd was boosting his spirits.
In a post, Congress said, “People’s leader Rahul Gandhi today met his porter friends at Delhi’s Anand Vihar Railway Station. A viral video had recently surfaced where railway station porters expressed their desire to meet him.” Images of Gandhi conversing with porters can be seen.
