The release of ‘Salaar,’ directed by Prashant Neel and featuring Prabhas, has been postponed. The producers, Hombale Films, announced on social media that the film’s release date has been pushed forward from its original date. ‘Salaar’ was scheduled to release worldwide in several languages on September 28th.
‘Salaar’ will be released in two parts, with the tagline of the first installment being ‘Part 1: The Truce.’ The producers had released a teaser of the film on July 6th, hinting that it will be a deep gangster drama. There are speculations that the film could be based on the world of the KGF franchise.

Following ‘Salaar,’ Prashant has a project with NTR Junior. Meanwhile, Prabhas also has ‘Project K’ in his kitty. The science-fiction film inspired by mythological narratives, directed by Nag Ashwin, released its first glimpse on July 21st at the San Diego Comic-Con. The movie also features Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone.
