The Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar: Cease Fire – Part 1’, registering a noticeable dip in collections on its 13th day at the box office. Despite facing tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki,’ the film had a strong run during the first week of its release. As it entered its second week, numbers took a dip on Tuesday, after the extended New Year’s holiday.
On its 13th day, ‘Salaar: Cease Fire – Part 1‘ managed to accumulate around Rs 5.25 Crores in net collections for all languages, according to early estimates.This decline comes after the film’s impressive earnings of Rs 16.6 Crores on the 11th day (Monday) and Rs 6.45 Crores on the 12th day (Tuesday). Despite the dip, the film maintained a 13.92% Hindi occupancy on Wednesday.

The movie’s cumulative total now stands at an estimated Rs 373.57 Crores.
‘Salaar‘ is now Prabhas’ fifth film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in Hindi sectors. His previous films included ‘Baahubali’, ‘Saaho’ and ‘Adipurush’. As the film makes its way to the Rs 400 crore mark, leading man Prabhas took time out to thank his fans for the overwhelming response to his movie. “I am deeply grateful and humbled by the immense love and support given by the audience. Witnessing Salaar’s fantastic run at the box office has been nothing but an incredible reward for me and my entire team,” he said in a statement.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar’ features an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan in lead roles.
According to the latest reports, a ‘Salaar’ sequel is already on the cards. The team is reportedly ready with a script and the stars are eager to get back to the sets to shoot the movie as soon as possible.
In the meantime, Prabhas will get another go at creating boxoffice history this year, when his film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ releases in theatres. The film will see him sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone for the very first time.
