The much-anticipated film Geetha Govindam, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, has been the talk of the town since the release of its first look. After their first song ‘Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale,’ the makers released another song from the film last month titled ‘Adhya.’ Speaking about Adhya, Vijay Deverakonda shared that in a way, the song is about ‘moments from her life and experiences,’ even though she is not married. The actor also revealed that he envisions his married life in a similar manner.
Explaining the captured emotions through Adhya, Vijay Deverakonda said, ‘If I were to put it in one line, Adhya is a song about a young couple who are deeply in love. They get married, and a year after their marriage, this happens. It’s beautiful, it’s your own, it’s your intimacy. The person you love is your entire time. So, it’s about that beautiful phase after marriage, typically before the case reaches its peak.
‘And in a way, a lot of moments in the song are from my life, from experiences that I’ve had. I’m not married, but somehow when I do get married, I want to look at my married life in a similar way,’ he added.
Apart from Geetha Govindam, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will also be seen in Shakun Batra’s untitled film. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda has Janaganamana in his lineup.
