Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan, who had previously worked together in the movie “Darr” (1993).
seemed to have put an end to their long-standing feud. After their collaboration in “Darr,” there was reportedly a prolonged period of animosity between the two actors, during which they didn’t speak to each other.
Recently, at a party celebrating the success of their hit action-drama film “Gadar 2,” Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol were among the guests. They were seen together at the event on Saturday night, along with Shah Rukh’s wife, interior designer Gauri Khan. In a video shared by a paparazzi account on Instagram, Shah Rukh and Sunny could be seen posing for the cameras.
Shah Rukh and Sunny Embrace
Photographers captured the moment when they hugged and had their arms around each other. Shah Rukh and Sunny warmly embraced each other. They even gestured and waved to the paparazzi. One fan, reacting to the clip, wrote, “It’s nice to see both of them together.” Another Instagram user commented, “Now, Darr 2 should happen!”
For the party, Shah Rukh wore a gray jacket over navy blue t-shirt and black cargo pants. He completed the look with sneakers and had his hair tied in a ponytail. Sunny was seen in a black t-shirt, a blue blazer, and pants.
The Darr Connection
Shah Rukh and Sunny had previously worked together in the 1993 film “Darr,” in which Juhi Chawla also played a pivotal role. Following this collaboration, there was a long-standing feud between the actors, and they allegedly didn’t speak to each other for 16 years.
Resolving the Feud
Sunny recently told Times Now, “Shah Rukh Khan watched the film. He had called me before this and wished me well. He was very happy, and he said, ‘I’m really happy; you deserve it.’ I said thank you. Then I spoke to his wife (Gauri Khan) and his son (Aryan Khan) as well. They said tonight we’re going to watch the film. And after that, he tweeted, I think.” Sunny added, “He said, ‘It was very nice. I’ve also called him several times and we’ve shared our thoughts on a few things.’ Life should be like this.”
The feud had started when Sunny was not happy that Shah Rukh’s character in “Darr” received more acclaim than his character as the hero. In court, he had mentioned, “Finally, people liked me in the film. They liked Shah Rukh Khan as well. The only issue with the film was that I didn’t know that they would glorify the villain. I always work with an open heart and trust people when I work in films. Unfortunately, we have many actors and stars who don’t work that way. Maybe they want to earn their stardom this way.”**
