Amidst the controversy surrounding the film’s title, Nelson’s Rajinikanth-starrer “Jailor” is set to release worldwide on August 10. Produced under the Sun Pictures banner by Kalanidhi Maran, the film also stars Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishna, and Tamanna Bhatia in significant roles.

To boost excitement among fans, the producers organized a grand audio launch event on Friday, July 28, at the prestigious Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. The track “Kavala,” composed by Anirudh Ravichander, had already become a global sensation.

Recently, Tamanna Bhatia, whose song in the film captivated everyone, expressed her gratitude for the immense love received from fans worldwide. She said, “People have showered so much love. This song is trending so much that we usually promote films, but now we have to talk about the love people have shown us and made it a trend,” she told news agency ANI.

Expanding on the film Jailor, she clarified, Jailor is primarily a Tamil film that has been dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. It’s a genuine Tamil film, and we hope it reaches all Indian audiences. Jailor is not an all-Indian film. We have made a true film from our region.”

Superstar Rajinikanth is making a much-awaited comeback to the silver screen after a two-year hiatus, bringing immense joy and excitement among fans eagerly waiting for August 10.

A few days ago, this highly anticipated film faced controversy with Malayalam director Sachy Madhathil, who claimed that he had registered the title “Jailor” with the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) much before the Tamil film’s announcement in 2021. The matter is currently before the Madras High Court, and the hearing is scheduled for August 2.
