The film, starring Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, and Pallavi Joshi, has earned just over ₹1.50 crores in two days since its release.

The Vaccine War, produced and acted by Vivek Agnihotri, is not performing well at the domestic box office. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has managed to earn slightly over ₹1.50 crores in the two days since its release on September 28th.

According to reports, as per early estimates, The Vaccine War made approximately ₹85 lakhs in India on its second day. The film earned a similar amount on its opening day as well. With this, the film’s total earnings so far have crossed ₹1.70 crores.

The film stars Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, and Pallavi Joshi in leading roles. Previously, in August, special screenings of The Vaccine War were organized in the United States under India For Humanity Tour.

Speaking recently about The Vaccine War, Pallavi said in an interview with news agency ANI, “Many people are confused… but this film is not based on COVID. We are simply discussing how the vaccine was developed and the challenges faced during that process. It’s not a dark film in any sense… it’s a very positive film that celebrates our success. When audiences leave the theatres after watching it, they will be filled with pride… we have shown that India can do it…”

In a review by Hindustan Times, it is written, “The Vaccine War is also based on conspiracy theories that emerged during the pandemic – whether the coronavirus could be man-made in laboratories, whether this lab could be the source, whether there are pharma lobbies not promoting indigenous vaccines, and focusing on media trials that can turn the truth into lies and vice versa, the film’s core is that.
